K9VA Ltd endeavors to provide CONSISTENT LONG-TERM CARE, FAMILY INTEGRATION, BEHAVIORAL AND HEALTH for service animals and their families.
Our mission is to fill these detrimental gaps by offering community-based support, services, and networking for as long as required AFTER you welcome your service animal into your family.
MISSION STATEMENT:
TO HELP ENSURE SERVICE DOGS BEING USED BY VETERANS, FIRST RESPONDERS AND OTHERS COPING WITH PTSD ARE ABLE TO PERFORM THEIR DUTIES OF PROVIDING CARE AND SUPPORT TO THEIR OWNERS ON A LONG-TERM BASIS.
k9va.org is focused on helping provide information, support and resources to ensure service dogs being used by individuals coping with PTSD receive the training and care they require to remain a valuable asset to their owner's recovery.
We are committed to building an interactive community of individuals and organizations in the Northern Maryland and the Greater Baltimore areas who understand that owning a service dog is a long-term commitment, one those coping with PTSD are often ill-equipped to handle alone.
We strive to act as a conduit to connect the necessary people, resources and organizations to meet the unique needs of the service dog and its individual owner.
